Peschiera del Garda is located at the south of Lake Garda and at the same time directly borders the Mincio River. The historic center of Peschiera is surrounded by medieval walls and canals, a small jewel of architecture, art, and culture. But not only that, with the charm of narrow streets and alleys, it also invites you to linger for a coffee break or to go shopping.
The town thrives on wine production (Amarone, Lugana, Bardolino) and agriculture, small industries, and tourism. It especially benefits from its strategic position as a starting point for excursions in the various natural parks, cycling on the neighboring bike paths, and its proximity to entertainment/amusement parks.
Peschiera is an important junction not only due to its proximity to Verona (25 km) but also because of the port, which is a departure/arrival point for all the shuttles on Lake Garda. Moreover, it is very easy to reach Peschiera by car, plane, or train.
